Why is it that we never seem to realize what is important before it is too late. What is it that makes us so blind to the truth? Why is it people are never willing to drop all pretenses and Be their true selves. One would think one would want to walk true to who they really are. It is much less hard being true to one’s self than to try to be what other’s expect us to be.

I have been around for 61 years and for the most part they have been good years! I have had my share of trials along the way, but God has been really kind to me! I am currently a disabled United Methodist Minister on leave. It has been a long leave!” I am married to Sherri, who has been a God-send to me. I like to read. I like to write what I call ditties. They are short essays from the hallows of my mind and spirit! Of course my inspiration does come from a lot of sources; mainly I think my time with God and other times of reflection. I want to share them, not because they are brilliantly new or anything. It is more like my casting a message in a bottle into a small creek which I hope will lead to the someone who might be helped, maybe by what I write. I envisioned a spring moving the bottle mingling it out into a larger bay and from there into an ocean. Anything good gleaned from these hands I give credit to God alone. I have walked the path to humility-so I think, lesson learned! I hope for now anyway! So I will give it a go! See you when the Spirit moves, or when lightning strikes with illumination. Blessings, Rian View all posts by rianpkmaccom
