Come tempest
Billows thrust
My Soul
God’s Entrust
Steadfast firm
stand I must
Surrendering not
my Faith.
Come darkness
hungry weight
In my God
I stand and wait
Faithful aways
Never late
His love-light
unquenchable
Come hunger
Strong and Raw
In Jesus Christ
I have it all
Satiated, Quiet
I feed in awe
His Word
Fills my soul.
Come Lord Jesus,
I long to meet,
My soul’s desire
In You complete
Savior, Provider
Pure love sweet
True Joy
For all Eternity!
No hope have I in this world’s plan
nor much good has it for me. Your Love my God,
makes all things bright and new,
embraced in Trinity

I have been around for 61 years and for the most part they have been good years! I have had my share of trials along the way, but God has been really kind to me! I am currently a disabled United Methodist Minister on leave. It has been a long leave!”
I am married to Sherri, who has been a God-send to me.
I like to read. I like to write what I call ditties. They are short essays from the hallows of my mind and spirit! Of course my inspiration does come from a lot of sources; mainly I think my time with God and other times of reflection. I want to share them, not because they are brilliantly new or anything. It is more like my casting a message in a bottle into a small creek which I hope will lead to the someone who might be helped, maybe by what I write. I envisioned a spring moving the bottle mingling it out into a larger bay and from there into an ocean. Anything good gleaned from these hands I give credit to God alone. I have walked the path to humility-so I think, lesson learned! I hope for now anyway!
So I will give it a go! See you when the Spirit moves, or when lightning strikes with illumination. Blessings, Rian
